In March 2023 the Centre was proud to host the second Environmental Education days on behalf of Ashford Borough Council. The theme was Encouraging Wildlife in your School Grounds and representatives from 7 schools attended. We learnt about how to create habitats for a range of wildlife, technology that can support us and how to identify birds, bees and butterflies. There was some fantastic teamwork from the children to make a bird box to take back to school. Our thanks go to Repair Cafe Ashford who made the bird box kits.
