Bi-monthly meet up for seniors. Join us to share a game, a chat or a hobby. No need to book in advance, just turn up and join in the fun.
Join us for a guided local walk to spot the birds living in our local environment. You’ll be helped to identify birds through site, habitat and birdsong. This event is free but there are limited places so please ensure you book your place in advance. Suitable for beginners. Suitable for those aged 16 years +.

This Easter our favourite rabbit, Mr P. Rabbit, is coming to the centre for plenty of rabbit themed fun and games. We’ll be having lots of hopping good fun as well as getting creative to make our own wooden bunny decorations. Mr P. Rabbit will be meeting you all with plenty of photo opportunities. You’ll also get to enjoy a yummy children’s lunch box.

Phil is back with his array of reptiles. Learn lots of fascinating facts and get the chance to hold or stroke the creatures. This fun engaging event is suitable for all ages from 0-100 but please ensure you buy everyone in your group a ticket.

They say every day’s a school day, do you want to put that to the test?
Prove you (and your team of 4 to 6) have kept learning all throughout your lives by competing against your fellow quizzers! There’s a variety of questions to tackle, and there will be a fun atmosphere with a small competitive edge. You can bring your own snacks and drinks too, to keep you content as you enjoy the evening’s quizzing.

For our immersive storytelling session this Easter we are going on a bear hunt around the centre grounds. We’ll be stopping to carry out story themed activities along the way, including making your own grass head, pond dipping, making a stick bear puppet and hunting for mini bears. Suitable for ages 2.5 years +.

Our hugely popular drop and leave session is back this Easter. Leave the grown ups at home and spend your Wednesday going WILD! With firepit cooking, den building, pond dipping, minibeast hunts, nature crafts, scavenger hunts and team games there is plenty to burn off their energy. Bring your own nut-free packed lunch. Suitable for ages 6 years and above.

Join us on Good Friday for some egg-cellent family fun. We’ll be getting into the Easter spirit with some egg themed games, an egg hunt with a small Easter themed prize and a chance to get crafty to make your own wooden Easter egg decoration. Pond dipping
Please note the pond is only available as a supervised activity and these are limited in number. The newts are a protected species.
Under careful supervision, and with approved nets and specimen trays, our very special pond will be explored on future dates – TBC.
